Subhadra Yojana Odisha: The government offers many initiatives with the objective of empowering women. On the 17th of September 2024, PM Narendra Modi’s birthday, a special initiative named Subhadra Yojana was launched specifically for Odisha women. Women who qualify for this scheme will receive 10,000 rupees in aid split into two instalments.
The scheme is for women who are between the years of 21 and 60. The initiative continued for five years. The government has also budgeted Rs 55,825 crore for this. Women may start their businesses and become independent through the Subhadra Yojana.

Who can apply for Subhadra Yojana? Subhadra Yojana Eligibility
1. Any woman who is a native of Odisha can apply in this scheme.
2. Woman’s name should be linked in the ration card.
3. The family income of the woman should not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh.
5. Women between 21 to 60 years can apply in this scheme.
How to apply for Subhadra Yojana?
You must submit an online application through the Subhadra site in order to get the benefits of Subhadra Yojana. You need to go to any Anganwadi center, Mo Seva Kendra, Block office, Urban local body office, or Common Service Centre to submit an offline application. There, printed forms will be given at no cost. You have to fill up and send this form to the nearest Common Service Centre. Following submission, the government will verify the form with its database. If an error appear in the form, your application will be rejected. There is not a cost to apply for the scheme.
These women will not get the benefit
- If you pay tax, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- If you get a pension of Rs 1500 per month or more than 18 thousand annually under any government scheme, then you cannot take advantage of this scheme.
- Apart from this, if you are taking advantage of any scholarship, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- If a woman has been a former or current MLA or MP, then she cannot apply for this scheme. Apart from this, if there is a current or former MP or MLA from the family of a woman, they will also not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Apart from this, except the ward member or councilor, the elected public representative in any urban local body or Panchayati Raj institution will not get its benefit.
